How do I add a stop to my trip?
Open the Trip tab and use the search box below your route to look up a city — it’ll suggest matches as you type. Your trip saves automatically on this device, so it’s still there next time you open the app.
Why didn’t my boarding pass scan properly?
Photos of a printed or emailed boarding pass usually decode automatically. PDF uploads are stored and viewable but don’t auto-decode yet — you can still see and access them in Wallet, the flight details just won’t be pulled out automatically.
How does the currency price scanner work?
Point your camera at a price and line it up inside the box — it reads the number and converts it using whichever currencies you’ve set under "Scanning in" and "Show in". Both are worth checking manually if you’re testing with a photo rather than a real price tag, since it can’t tell what currency an image is in on its own.
Is my data shared with anyone?
We never hide where a recommendation comes from — every booking link and suggestion in Kovalo shows its real source. Your trip data stays on your device unless you explicitly share a trip link with someone.
Can I use Kovalo without an internet connection?
Once you’ve opened Kovalo with a connection, the core app keeps working offline. Live features that genuinely need a connection — current exchange rates, translation, price scanning — need one to fetch fresh data each time.
Booked something and it’s gone wrong?Kovalo isn’t who you booked with — flights, hotels, and everything else in Book hand off to the actual provider. Their support team has access to your reservation; we don’t, so they’re who can actually help.
